Blue Santa Parade

The San Marcos Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association will partner with Sights & Sounds of Christmas to host a Blue Santa Parade. There is no entry fee for the parade. However, participants are asked to donate an unwrapped toy for the Blue Santa Program.

Operation Blue Santa is a 501(c)(3) – non-profit, community based corporation, organized by San Marcos Police Department. In 2008, we provided more than 900 children in the San Marcos community with toys. The “Blue Santa” is literally a police officer in uniform, who will give a toy to a less fortunate child in our community.
